Very often clients come to us and say that they want to re-design their website as its no longer performing as well as it did.
In this instance the first thing we do is review their existing website by looking at the visual design and comparing it to their market, assessing the technologies and systems on the site and how people use the site. More often than not, the its the visual look of the site that will need updating rather than the content or the data structure that drives it.
Sometimes however a more holistic approach may be needed to give the site a "current" look, achieve a better search engine rank or ensure that more users complete sales.
We can make recommendations that cover the visual design, the usability and content as well as introducing ideas such as a news section or automated special offer that will increase sales goals.
A review of an existing website is a good way to see what works and what doest as well as what needs to be done now and what can be achieved in the future by formulating and following a strategic development plan.
